NEUROFEEDBACK:

Staff at NY Assistive Technology and Occupational Therapy, PC have been trained to use The Attention TrainerTM, a neurofeedback unit designed with help from NASA as an alternative treatment for teaching attentional and focusing skills. It is an exciting and fun new approach that uses computer games and "goopless" sensors.

Occupational Therapy skills are treated in a multi-sensory, functional method. In this picture, the child is working on balance and gross motor coordination, while sitting on a ball. He is also working on fine motor skills and upper extremity strength and endurance while writing on a chalkboard.
